Rocking October with Dark Romance, Fantasy, and Villainy: Four Books I Can’t Wait to Read

Four Sizzling Reads to Keep You Warm ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒถ️๐Ÿฅต

Hello, Aesthetes! October is here, and that means cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes, and of course, some amazing books to curl up with.

I have four titles on my TBR list that I’m super excited to share with you. They were all in my TBR and caught my eye, and they promise to deliver romance, fantasy, and villainy in spades. Whether you’re looking for a dark romance, Fantasy, or something cute but Spicy ;)

October means cooler weather, cozy blankets, and hot chocolate. But if you're looking for something else to heat up your nights, You should be reading these 4 books that will make you swoon, laugh, and gasp. They are all from different genres, but they have one thing in common: THEY ARE SIZZLING HOTTTT!! I can't wait to read them and I think you will love them too.

Let's Dive In!!!!

1. God of Malice by Rina Kent

The first book on my list is God of Malice by Rina Kent, the first book in the Legacy of Gods series. This is a dark and enemies-to-lovers romance that follows Glyndon, an art student who accidentally catches the attention of Killian, an emotionless, powerful and somewhat psychopath. What follows is a twisted and intense game of cat and mouse, where Glyndon tries to escape Killian’s obsession, while Killian tries to claim her as his own.

I’ve heard so many good things about this book and this author, and I can’t wait to dive into this dark and delicious world. I love books that have anti-heroes, Enemies-to-Lovers Trope and this one sounds like it has both. Plus, it has that Touch-Her-And-I'll-Kill You Vibes. ABSOLUTE FAVORITEEEE!!!

2. Wreck The Halls by Tessa Bailey

The second book on my list is Wreck the Halls by Tessa Bailey, a standalone holiday romance that follows Melody Gallard, a famous musician's daughter, is given the opportunity to perform with her mother's band live on television. The lead singer's son, Beat Dawkins, is Melody's opposite, and the two of them set out on a mission to persuade their mothers to put on one final performance. Melody feels supported and understood as they deal with the antics of a 24-hour film crew, Santas, and rock stars. Their reunion, their ties with their moms, and their newfound love, however, are all put in jeopardy by a long-ago incident.

I’m a sucker for holiday romances, and this one sounds like it has everything I love: humor, heat, and heart. I’ve read so many of Tessa Bailey’s books before, and I know she can write steamy and swoony scenes like no other. She delivers what she promises HEAT, LAUGHTER AND HAPPILY-EVER-AFTER.  I’m looking forward to seeing how Melody and Beat overcome their obstacles and find their happily ever after.

3. Assistant To The Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer

The third book on my list is Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. This is the first book in ATTV Series. The Office meets Once Upon a Time in Hannah Maehrer's hilarious novelization of her hit TikTok series about the cheery assistant to an Evil Villain and their unexpected relationship.

The real reason why I want to read is because I was following her Series on TikTok with Sunshine Assistant and her Morally Gray Boss. I mean what's there not to like. And this so happens to be one of my favorite tropes.

I have read such good reviews about her book that I just simply can't wait to read this book.

4. Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross

The fourth and final book on my list is Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross. This is the first book in the Letters of Enchantment DuologyIn Rebecca Ross's Divine Rivals, two young journalists, Iris Winnow and Roman Kitt, find love through a magical connection. They must face the gods' war and their fate forever. Iris's mother suffers from addiction, and her brother is missing. They form a connection that will lead them to battle for her brother, mankind's fate, and love.
This book has been all over my TikTok And I just had to check this out. This sounds so amazing and It has the Enemies-To-Lovers Trope (which you know already is my favoriteee).

So these are the four books I plan to read in October. I hope you enjoyed reading about them, and maybe you’ll want to read them too. If you do, please let me know what you think of them in the comments below or on my social media accounts. I’d love to hear from you!
