The Fine Print: A Dreamy Romance by Lauren Asher That Will Make You Swoon

The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

Hello Aesthetes!! I’m so excited to share my review of one of the best books I’ve read this year: The Fine Print by Lauren Asher. This is the first book in the Dreamland Billionaires series, which is about three brothers who run a theme park empire. It was a BookTok sensation in 2021 and it deserved all the hype. I had this book on my TBR for ages, and now I finally read it and I’m so happy I did. It was a hilarious, sweet, and steamy read. It felt like watching a rom-com.

💗Characters💗

The main characters of this book are Rowan Cane and Zahra. Rowan is the CEO of Dreamland, a theme park company that he inherited from his father. He is ambitious, ruthless, and cold-hearted. He has a reputation for being a jerk and a workaholic. He doesn’t care about anyone’s feelings. He is determined to renovate Dreamland as a condition to get his part of inheritance left by his grandfather.

Zahra is a member of the creator team, who designs attractions for the theme park. She is smart, creative, and passionate. She loves theme parks and roller coasters. She has a sunny personality and a positive outlook on life. She is not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for herself. She is also a huge fan of Dreamland, because she practically grew up there.

Their paths cross when Zahra submits a drunk proposal criticizing Park's oldest and most famous ride. Instead of firing her, which she assumed, Rowan hires her as a creator on his team. He thinks she can help him with his project, but he also has an ulterior motive. He even texts her using a fake name, pretending to be a friendly stranger. But what happens when Zahra finds out his secret? Will she forgive him or hate him?

I loved the chemistry and the banter between Rowan and Zahra. They were so different, but they complemented each other. They challenged each other and made each other grow. They also had some steamy scenes that made me swoon. They were adorable and hilarious.
