5 Books to Spice Up Your November: A Romance Reading List

Cozy up with these books in November 🍂

Hey, Aesthetes! I’m so happy to be back with another blog post for you. I hope you are having a wonderful day, wherever you are. Can you believe it’s already November? Time flies when you’re having fun, right? 😄
Well, I don’t know about you, but I love reading in the fall. There’s something so cozy and comforting about curling up with a good book, a warm blanket, and a hot drink. And since the weather is getting colder and the days are getting shorter, I think it’s the perfect time to dive into some amazing books.
That’s why I’m here to share with you my November TBR, which stands for To Be Read, in case you didn’t know. These are the six books that I’m planning to read this month, and I’m super excited about them. They are all from different genres and authors, so I’m sure there’s something for everyone. Let me tell you a little bit about each one of them, and why I chose them.

So, The books are:
1. King of Greed by Ana Huang

King of Greed by Ana Huang is the third book in the Kings of Sin series. Ana Huang is one of my favorite and an insta-read author for me. I love her contemporary romance stories that follow different couples who are connected by a common theme of the seven deadly sins and how they affect their lives. Each book can be read as a standalone, but they are also interrelated and have recurring characters and events.
King of Greed tells the story of Dominic and Alessandra, a billionaire couple who are on the verge of divorce. Dominic is the King of Wall Street, a ruthless and ambitious man who always wants more and never settles for less. Alessandra is his wife, a kind and smart woman who supported him while he built his empire, but who realized that he changed and that she always came second to his work. She decides to leave him and put herself first, but he refuses to let her go and fights for their marriage, no matter what it takes.
I can’t wait to see how their relationship will evolve and how they will overcome their differences and their challenges. I have heard that this book is full of steam, angst, and emotions, and that it has some twists and surprises that will keep me hooked. I also want to catch up with the characters from the previous books, King of Wrath and King of Pride, and see how they are doing. I have enjoyed Ana Huang’s writing style and character development, and I am looking forward to reading more of her work. 💓

2. Unfortunately Yours by Tessa Bailey

Another book that I am planning to read in November is Unfortunately Yours by Tessa Bailey, which is the second book in the Vine Mess series. I have already read the First book  in this series, Secretly Yours. I didn't write a review for it but I loved it and rated 4 Stars. Tessa Bailey is also one of my favorite authors and an instant read author for me. I adore her hilarious and steamy rom-coms that feature stubborn, blue-collar men and loyal, lovable heroines. She has been dubbed the “Michelangelo of dirty talk” by Entertainment Weekly, and I can’t get enough of her spice, spirit, and swoon.

Unfortunately Yours is about Natalie and August, a Napa heiress and a vineyard owner who enter into a marriage of convenience for their own reasons. Natalie needs to get married to access her trust fund and start her own business, while August needs money to save his failing wine-making venture. They have always had a love-hate relationship, full of insults and sparks, but they agree to a quickie wedding and a few weeks of living together. However, they soon discover that their attraction is more than they bargained for, and that their fake marriage might turn into something real.

I am excited to see how Natalie and August will deal with their mutual attraction and their personal issues. I have heard that this book is a perfect blend of humor, heat, and heart, and that it has some unexpected twists and turns that will keep me on the edge of my seat. I also want to revisit the characters from the first book in the series, Secretly Yours, and see how they are doing. I have enjoyed Tessa Bailey’s writing style and character development, and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.

3. God of Pain by Rina Kent

The third book is God of Pain by Rina Kent, which is the second book in the Legacy of Gods series, a dark and Grumpy x Sunshine romance. It follows Annika Volkov, an art student with OCD who hates her mafia family, and Creighton King, a cold and powerful businessman who is obsessed with her. They are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame, but they also fight, hate, and hurt each other. They will either destroy each other or heal each other.

I loved the first book in the series, God of Malice, and I rated it 4 stars (Review Here). I wanted to read the other books in the series and I hope they are as good as the 1st book😍 I can’t wait to read this book and see how their story unfolds.

4. The Labor Day Chronicles by Lee Jacquot

One of the books that I am planning to read in November is The Labor Day Chronicle by Lee Jacquot, which is the seventh book in the Holinight series. This is a contemporary romance novella that follows a young aspiring writer who gets to work with her idol, a famous and arrogant author who turns out to be more than she bargained for.

The Labor Day Chronicle is about Eva, a college student who dreams of becoming a successful writer. She has always admired Declan Foxx, a bestselling author who writes incredible stories that changed her life. She gets the chance to meet him and work with him as his assistant, but she soon realizes that he is not the man she thought he was. He is vain, pompous, demanding, and naturally talented. He also has a dirty mouth and a dirty mind, and he likes to use them on Eva. He makes her his perfect little word whore, and she can’t help but enjoy it.

I am curious to see how Eva and Declan will deal with their attraction and their conflict. I have heard that this novella is full of steam, angst, and humor, and that it has some surprises and twists that will keep me entertained. I also want to catch up with the characters from the previous books in the series, which feature different couples and their stories of love, lust, and redemption. Each book can be read as a standalone, but they are connected by a common theme of holidays and nights. I have read all the other books in the series, and I loved them.

I am adding this novella and another one to my TBR list, so I can reach my yearly reading goal before the year ends. 😂

5. Rules We Break by Dana Isaly

Last but the not the Least, Rules We Break by Dana Isaly, the fifth and last book in the One Night Series. This series is a steamy romance collection that follows different couples who have one night of passion that changes their lives forever.

Rules We Break is about Greg and Ivy, two former friends with benefits who reconnect in Nashville. Greg is there for business and he runs into Ivy, his boss and ex-lover. He regrets ending their relationship and wants to win her back. Ivy is older, sexy, and secretly dominant. She still has feelings for Greg, but she’s not sure if he can handle her dark desires. They meet up later, which starts as two friends catching up, but soon escalates to more.

Will Greg and Ivy be able to rekindle their flame and break the rules that keep them apart? Or will their one night together be their last? I can’t wait to find out in this hot and spicy finale of the One Night Series.

Another Novella because Why Not!😉

I added another book Sinners Atone by Somme Sketcher and It was supposed to release in September. But I don't know what happened and the book is not released yet and the author didn't say anything about it either. So, I removed it.

That’s all for my November reading list. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and found some books that interest you. Let me know in the comments what books you’re planning to read this month and what you think of the ones I mentioned. I love hearing from you and getting your recommendations.
